Ingredients overview
- 185 g canned tuna in its own juice (drained)
- 1 pc M-sized egg
- 500 g potato (Type C)
- 100 g carrot
- 100 g zucchini
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pc small red onion (approx. 80 g)
- 100 g white spelt fine flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 2 tablespoons rapeseed oil for frying
Grate the potato and carrot finely into a large bowl. Grate the zucchini coarsely, salt it, and let it sit to release its liquid. Meanwhile, crush the garlic and finely chop the red onion.
Thoroughly squeeze out the potato, zucchini, and carrot to remove excess moisture. Mix them with the egg, tuna, flour, onion, and garlic, then season with salt and pepper.
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Form small patties from the mixture (about 12 in total) and fry them over medium heat for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
Chef's tip
Serve with a dip made from sour cream and fresh herbs.
