Preparation method

Boil 250 ml of water in a small saucepan. When the water starts to boil, add the freshly grated ginger and ground turmeric.

Reduce the heat and let the tea simmer for about 5–10 minutes for the flavors to meld well.

Strain the tea into a mug to remove the ginger pieces.
Chef's tip
If using fresh turmeric, be aware that it can stain your hands and utensils, so it's advisable to wear gloves when grating.
