Cut the salmon fillet against the grain into thin, even strips.
Assembly
Cut the nori seaweed sheet in half and place it on the bamboo sushi mat. Using wet fingers, spread about 75 g of cooked sushi rice over it, leaving a free strip of about 0.5 cm at the top edge. Lightly spread wasabi paste in the middle of the rice.
Place the salmon strips on the first third of the rice.
