Ingredients overview
- 200 g minced pork
- 20 g spring onion
- 20 g red onion
- 20 g sweet corn
- 20 g celery stalk
- 20 g carrot
- 20 g shiitake mushroom
- 1 pc iceberg lettuce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp + 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 pc red chili pepper
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 6 tbsp water
Prepare the iceberg lettuce: separate the leaves, cut them into a round shape, wash thoroughly, then set aside to dry.
In a medium-hot wok, sauté the finely chopped spring onion, red onion, and minced pork for 5 minutes in 2 tablespoons of sesame oil. Then add the chopped remaining vegetables (carrot, celery, corn, mushroom) and the sauce ingredients (oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, water). Simmer for another 10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and all ingredients are well cooked.
To serve, drizzle the lettuce leaves with the remaining 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and fill them with a large spoon of the meat and vegetable mixture. Garnish with fresh chili. You can also serve it by presenting all ingredients separately, allowing guests to assemble their own wraps.
