
Herb Cheese Ball with Crispy Walnuts

Preparation method
In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and cottage cheese, then mix thoroughly. Finely chop the green part of the spring onion, and add it to the cheese mixture. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside.
Finely chop the chives, and chop the walnuts with a knife or in a food processor. Place both in a deep plate and mix.
Finally, form a large ball from the cheese mixture with your hands, and roll it in the chive-walnut mixture. Place it in the refrigerator to chill for approx. 30–60 minutes before serving.
Chef's tip
Instead of spring onion, you can also use fresh parsley in the mixture.
