
Beef Steak with Green Peppercorn Sauce and Whiskey

Preparation method
Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides to taste.
Heat the olive oil in a pan, then cook the meat on both sides to your desired doneness. Once cooked, remove it from the pan and let it rest on a plate.
Pour the whiskey into the same pan and let the alcohol evaporate completely. Turn off the heat, add the cream and green peppercorns, then stir in the cold butter cut into small cubes until the sauce is smooth.
Chef's tip
The dish can also be served with roasted asparagus, blanched green beans, or crispy roasted potatoes.
