
Banana American pancakes with spelt flour

Preparation method
Prepare an immersion blender, a deep bowl, and a 28 cm diameter non-stick pan (or pancake pan).
Place the peeled bananas, eggs, flour, milk, baking powder, and melted butter into the bowl, then blend thoroughly with an immersion blender until smooth.
Heat the pan over medium heat. Using a spoon, pour the batter into the hot pan, forming pancakes about 8 cm in diameter. Cook them without fat, for about 3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Chef's tip
The pancakes are even tastier if you lightly toast the hazelnuts in a dry pan before serving.
