Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Prepare a baking dish of approx. 15x20 cm and line it with baking paper.
In a large bowl, mix the oatmeal, plain yogurt, honey, eggs, baking powder, cinnamon, and melted coconut oil. Whisk the mixture until smooth with a hand whisk.
Wash the apples, then grate them with their skin on a large-holed grater and fold them into the batter. If using extra toppings, mix in the coarsely chopped dark chocolate or hazelnuts now (or sprinkle them on top).
Chef's tip
You can also serve the cake with a little extra Greek yogurt or fresh berries.
