Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat). Clean the pumpkin and cut it into cubes. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of oil, sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom. Salt it, mix thoroughly, then bake for about 20 minutes until tender.
Place one half of the dough into a greased pie dish and form a raised edge.
Cut the red onion into half-rings and sauté in the remaining oil until golden. Let it cool, then mix in the eggs and crumbled feta cheese. Add the rosemary and the roasted, smoothly blended pumpkin. Spread the pumpkin mixture into the dish. From the other half of the dough, cut out eyes, a nose, and a mouth (like a Halloween pumpkin lantern), then place it over the filling and press the edges together with a fork.
