INGREDIENTS

  • 20 dkg cauliflower
  • 20 dkg broccoli
  • 15 dkg potatoes
  • 10 dkg cherry tomatoes
  • A little butter
  • 1.25 dl milk
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • Chives
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • 1-2 tbsp spicy sauce
  • 20 dkg red cheddar cheese
  • Pick Winter Salami

PREPARATION

  • 1
Grate the cheese. Cut the winter salami into nice cubes. Halve the tomatoes, and cut the chives into half-centimeter pieces.
  • 2
Separate the broccoli and cauliflower into florets, blanch them in boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and let them drain. Peel and dice the potatoes, and par-boil them in the cauliflower cooking water for 10-12 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain thoroughly.
  • 3
Whisk the eggs with the milk, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste. Stir in chopped chives to taste.
  • 4
Take an ovenproof dish, grease it with butter, add the vegetables and ¾ of the diced salami, and gently mix. Pour the egg mixture over it.
  • 5
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and bake with top and bottom heat for approximately 40-45 minutes.
  • 6
Prepare the sauce just before serving. Gently heat the milk in a pan over low heat. When it's lukewarm, add the cheese, drizzle with Piri-Piri sauce, and melt while stirring continuously. Once it's smooth and homogeneous, remove from heat.
  • 7
Pour the cheese sauce over the vegetable dish and sprinkle with the remaining winter salami cubes.
