  • 1 kg sweet potato
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic granules
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper

  • 1 clove garlic

    Wash the sweet potatoes and cut them into sticks. In a bowl, mix them with olive oil. Combine all the spices, pour over the potatoes, and mix thoroughly by hand to ensure even coating on each stick. Spread them out on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

    Bake the potatoes at 200°C until golden (this takes approximately 15-20 minutes). Then flip them over and bake the other side as well.

    You can serve it as a side dish or with a sauce. For example, a garlic-sour cream sauce pairs well with it.
