INGREDIENTS
- 3 medium-sized carrots
- 2 beetroots
- 3 medium parsley roots
- half a medium celery root
- Cooking oil
- Salt
WHAT ELSE YOU'LL NEED
- Kitchen paper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Thoroughly clean the vegetables, dry them, and slice them lengthwise into pieces about 2-3 mm thick.
- 2Heat a generous amount of oil in a pot to about 160°C.
- 3Once the oil is hot, gradually add the vegetables in small batches and fry them until golden brown.
- 4Fry the carrots and beetroot for about 3-4 minutes, and the parsley root and celery for 5-6 minutes.
- 5Place the fried vegetables on a baking tray lined with kitchen paper to absorb excess fat. Then transfer them to a bowl, salt them, and mix.
Tip
Instead of slicing with a knife, you can use a grater or peeler to create slices of more uniform thickness. Salt the vegetable slices while they are still hot. But they are also delicious unsalted. Approximately enough for 4 servings. The amount to be prepared also depends on you; you can use less or even more vegetables.
