Ingredients

  • 24 pcs shrimp (size 16–20)
  • 1 pc lemon juice
  • 1 pc orange juice
  • 3 pcs garlic cloves
  • 10 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped coriander
  • 1 pc lime for serving
  • 1 pc chili pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

    Remove the heads of the shrimp, then squeeze the juice from them into a bowl. Remove the shells from the shrimp up to the tail. In another bowl, mix the peeled shrimp with lemon and orange juice, add 2 pinches of salt, mix well and let it rest for approx. 10 minutes.

    Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and place the shrimp in the pan. Sauté them for half a minute, then flip them. Add ginger, finely chopped chili pepper to taste, and finely chopped garlic. Cook for another half minute.

    Add the juice squeezed from the heads to the citrus marinade in which you marinated the shrimp.

    Pour the marinade into the pan and cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in fresh coriander. Serve with lime and white bread.
