Ingredients
- 24 pcs shrimp (size 16–20)
- 1 pc lemon juice
- 1 pc orange juice
- 3 pcs garlic cloves
- 10 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
- 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped coriander
- 1 pc lime for serving
- 1 pc chili pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Steps
- 1Remove the heads of the shrimp, then squeeze the juice from them into a bowl. Remove the shells from the shrimp up to the tail. In another bowl, mix the peeled shrimp with lemon and orange juice, add 2 pinches of salt, mix well and let it rest for approx. 10 minutes.
- 2Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and place the shrimp in the pan. Sauté them for half a minute, then flip them. Add ginger, finely chopped chili pepper to taste, and finely chopped garlic. Cook for another half minute.
- 3Add the juice squeezed from the heads to the citrus marinade in which you marinated the shrimp.
- 4Pour the marinade into the pan and cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in fresh coriander. Serve with lime and white bread.
