INGREDIENTS

  • 150 g minced beef
  • Hamburger bun
  • 1 slice cheddar
  • Mayonnaise
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 2 onion rings
  • Globus ketchup

PREPARATION

  • 1
For a good hamburger patty, you only need quality beef, salt, and pepper.
  • 2
The patty should be slightly larger than the bun. Make an indentation in the center of the patty, otherwise, it will swell during grilling. Place the room-temperature meat on a lightly oiled grill. For medium-rare meat, it's enough to cook each side for 3 minutes, but this also depends on the thickness. After flipping the patty, place a slice of cheese on top to melt. Don't forget to toast the halved bun on the grill as well.
  • 3
Spread one side of the bun with mayonnaise, ketchup, or both. Place the patty on the bun, then add the other ingredients to taste – the tomato, onion, and lettuce. Place the other half of the bun on top, then serve.
Tip
Do not place the lettuce under the meat, as it will wilt. Crispy fried bacon is also excellent in a burger; cook it on a grill tray or in a pan to prevent it from falling through the grill grates.
