- 750 g chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- Plain flour for coating
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Pinch of pepper
- Pinch of salt
INGREDIENTS FOR THE SAUCE
- 200 ml soy sauce
- 110 g brown sugar
- 130 g finely grated apple
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
- 1 tablespoon peeled sesame seeds
WHAT ELSE YOU'LL NEED
- Kitchen paper towel
PREPARING THE CHICKEN WINGS
- 1Remove the tips of the chicken wings and cut the wings along the joints.
- 2In a bowl, mix the balsamic vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper, then add the prepared wings, mix well, and set aside.
- 3In a deep pot, heat enough oil to cover the chicken wings to 160°C.
- 4Coat the wings with flour, gently tapping off any excess. Fry them in oil for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Then remove the wings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
PREPARING THE SAUCE
- 1In a pot, boil the soy sauce with 100 ml of water and sugar until it reduces to about 2/3 of its original volume. Then remove from heat and mix with the grated apple.
- 2Lightly toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan and mix them with the chopped coriander in a bowl. First, toss the fried chicken wings in the sauce, then in the coriander-sesame seed mixture.
