Ingredients
- 500 g semi-skimmed quark
- 100 ml whipping cream 31%
- 1 pc vanilla bean
- 40 g birch sugar or granulated sugar
Instructions
- 1Place the quark, cream, and sugar into a blender. Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and add them to the other ingredients.
- 2Blend everything until smooth and creamy.
- 3Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for about 30 minutes. The finished ice cream can be served immediately in bowls or cones.
- 4If you don't have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a stainless steel bowl and place it in the freezer. While freezing, take it out every 20-30 minutes and stir thoroughly, moving from the edges towards the center. Repeat this until the ice cream reaches the desired consistency. Let it thaw slightly before serving.
