Ingredients

  • 500 g semi-skimmed quark
  • 100 ml whipping cream 31%
  • 1 pc vanilla bean
  • 40 g birch sugar or granulated sugar

    Place the quark, cream, and sugar into a blender. Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and add them to the other ingredients.

    Blend everything until smooth and creamy.

    Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for about 30 minutes. The finished ice cream can be served immediately in bowls or cones.

    If you don't have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a stainless steel bowl and place it in the freezer. While freezing, take it out every 20-30 minutes and stir thoroughly, moving from the edges towards the center. Repeat this until the ice cream reaches the desired consistency. Let it thaw slightly before serving.
