Preparation method

Sift the flour into a bowl with a pinch of salt. Add the eggs, beetroot juice, and oil.

Knead into a smooth and elastic dough. If it's too sticky, add a little more flour. Wrap in foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Roll out the rested dough thinly (approx. 1–2 mm) and cut out heart shapes.

Chef's tip

You can control the color of the dough with the amount of beetroot juice – the more you add, the more intense the pink shade will be.
