Preparation and Base
Line a rectangular dish or small baking tray (approx. 20 × 30 cm) with baking paper or cling film.
In a large bowl, combine the shredded coconut, vanilla extract, honey, and 100 g of melted coconut oil. Mix the mixture thoroughly.
Press the resulting mixture evenly into the prepared dish, then place it in the freezer for 15–20 minutes to set.
Chef's tip
The slices can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 months. Before serving, it is advisable to leave them at room temperature for at least 30 minutes for optimal flavor and texture.
