
Fresh Strawberries with Crème Fraîche and Chocolate

- 500 g fresh strawberries
- 200 g crème fraîche
- 1 pc vanilla bean
- 2-3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 100 g dark chocolate (for baking)
- 1 tbsp milk
- 5 pcs Lotus Biscoff biscuits
- 8 leaves fresh mint
Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and mix them with the crème fraîche. Add the powdered sugar and whip thoroughly.
Melt the dark chocolate with a little milk over a double boiler. Add the empty vanilla bean pod and finely chopped mint, then let it sit for 10 minutes for the flavors to meld. Afterwards, remove the vanilla pod.
Cut the strawberries crosswise at the top and trim their bottoms flat so they stand on the plate. Dip the bottom half of the strawberries into the melted chocolate, then fill their centers with the vanilla cream. Finally, sprinkle with crumbled Lotus biscuits and serve fresh.
