Ingredients
- 1 dl milk
- 80 dkg apple
- 1 pc egg for brushing
- 1 pc lemon
- 200 g butter
- 15 g fresh yeast
- 1 ml rum
- 300 g flour
- 50 g raisins
- 150 g granulated sugar
- 3 g ground cinnamon
- 2 g salt
- 150 g sugar
- 60 g breadcrumbs
Steps
- 1Dissolve 3 dkg of sugar in lukewarm milk, mix in the yeast, then let it rise in a warm place.
- 2Melt the butter and let it cool to lukewarm.
- 3Mix the flour with the melted butter, salt, yeast mixture, and the remaining sugar. Knead it, and let it rise to double its size in about 1 hour.
- 4For the filling, heat the butter, and toast the breadcrumbs with the cinnamon.
- 5Wash and peel the apples, remove the core, then dice the flesh.
- 6Add the cinnamon breadcrumbs, rum, squeezed lemon juice and grated zest, sugar, and raisins, then mix them together.
- 7Roll out the dough on a floured kitchen towel, brush it with the beaten egg.
- 8Pile the filling onto the edge of the dough and roll it up. Bake in a baking tray lined with parchment paper at 180 degrees Celsius for about 40-45 minutes.
