Preparation method
Place the cottage cheese in a large bowl, add a pinch of salt, egg, and flour, then knead thoroughly. The dough should not be too soft, so add more flour if necessary. Let it rest in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Wash the strawberries and remove their stems. If they are large, you can cut them into smaller pieces.
On a floured cutting board, tear off pieces of dough about 4 cm in size, then flatten them. Try to make them roughly the same size. Place one (drained, dried) strawberry in the center of each dough piece and carefully form them into dumplings. Press the dough firmly around the strawberry. Immediately place the dumplings into the boiling water and cook them for 6 minutes.
