Preparation method
Bring 1 liter of water to a boil in a large pot. While the water is heating, cut the cabbage into strips or smaller pieces. Once the water starts boiling, salt it, add the cabbage, and cook for 10 minutes over high heat.
Meanwhile, finely grate the Edam cheese. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat (approx. 30-60 seconds).
Once the cabbage is cooked, drain it, rinse with cold water, and thoroughly squeeze out any excess moisture.
Chef's tip
Serve with fresh sour cream or garlic dip for an even fuller flavor experience.
