Preparation method
First, put the potatoes to boil: peel them, cut them into cubes, place them in a large pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Then, salt the water, reduce the heat to medium, cover the pot, and cook the potatoes for 15-18 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the meatballs. Peel and crush the garlic. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the ground beef, crushed garlic, egg, dried dill, corn breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Form 16 equally sized balls from the mixture.
When the potatoes are cooked, drain them. In a small saucepan, heat the milk with 20 g of butter for 1-2 minutes until the butter melts and the milk is hot. Pour the buttery milk over the potatoes and whip into a silky purée with an electric whisk.
Chef's tip
Before serving, garnish each portion with finely chopped fresh parsley.
