Preparation method
First, peel the sweet potatoes and cut them lengthwise into slices about 0.5 cm thick. Clean the red onion and garlic, then finely chop them. Preheat the oven to 180–185 °C and prepare a high-sided baking dish or tray approximately 25 cm × 30 cm.
In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil, add the chopped onion and garlic, then sauté over medium heat for 2–3 minutes. Then add the minced beef and sauté for another 7–8 minutes. Pour in the chopped tomatoes, season with oregano, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper, then cook the sauce over medium heat for 5–6 minutes.
Meanwhile, finely grate the Parmesan, place it in a bowl, and mix with the cottage cheese, egg, a little salt, and pepper.
