Preparation method
Ingredients overview
- 180 g mini hamburger buns
- 480 g mini hamburger patties
- 100 g sliced cheddar cheese
- 50 g romaine lettuce
- 150 g tomatoes
- 60 ml BBQ sauce
Heat a pan or grill, then cook the beef patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, until juicy and cooked through. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty, cover the pan, and let it melt nicely for 1-2 minutes.
Prepare the vegetables: wash the romaine lettuce and slice the tomatoes. Cut the mini burger buns in half and toast them cut-side down in the pan to your liking.
Assemble the burgers: spread BBQ sauce on the bottom halves of the buns. Place a lettuce leaf, the cheese-topped patty, and then a slice of tomato on each. Finally, add the top halves of the buns and serve immediately.
Chef's tip
It's worth toasting the buns before serving, so they don't get soggy from the sauce and will be crispier.
