Ingredients
- 150 g Feta cheese
- 350 g Dry pasta
- 500 g Cherry tomatoes
- 45 ml Olive oil
- 100 ml Dry white wine
- 1 pc Fresh basil
- 1 pinch Freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- 2In an ovenproof dish, mix the tomatoes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, a little freshly ground pepper, and white wine (the wine is optional).
- 3Arrange the tomatoes around the edges of the dish, and place the whole block of feta cheese in the center.
- 4Drizzle the feta cheese with the remaining one tablespoon of olive oil.
- 5Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes, until the feta cheese softens and the tomatoes are nicely roasted.
- 6Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water.
- 7Once the baked base is ready, remove it from the oven, and using a fork, mash the cheese and tomatoes, then mix until creamy. Add the cooked pasta, toss thoroughly, and finally garnish with fresh basil leaves.
Tip
Use good quality, original Greek feta cheese for the creamiest result.
