INGREDIENTS FOR THE PANCAKES

  • 200 g plain flour
  • 400 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • Jam for flavoring the pancakes
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling on the pancakes
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • A pinch of salt

PREPARING THE PANCAKES

    Whisk the egg and milk together in a bowl, then add the butter and a pinch of salt. Gradually mix in the flour. Let it rest for at least 1 hour.

    Grease a pan with oil or butter and start heating it over low heat. Ladle small portions of the batter into the pan and spread it evenly over the entire surface of the pan with circular motions. Fry both sides of the pancake until golden brown.

    Place the finished pancakes on a plate, then spread them with jam and roll them up. Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar!
Tip
Use a pastry brush to grease the pan. This way, you can coat it evenly with oil, and the pancakes will fry nicely. If possible, use a pancake pan, as its non-stick surface and low rim prevent the pancakes from sticking and make them easy to flip.
