- 170 g cheddar cheese
- 160 g almonds
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 2 pinches salt
- 90 g tomato paste
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 4 slices ham
- 1 pinch black pepper
What else you'll need
- 1 sheet baking paper
Instructions
- 1Grate the cheddar cheese coarsely, and grind the almonds into fine flour. Mix the grated cheese, almond flour, 2 eggs, a pinch of salt, and one teaspoon of basil. Place the resulting dough in the freezer to rest for 30 minutes.
- 2After resting, roll out the dough between two sheets of baking paper into a thin disc. Place it in an oven preheated to 180°C and pre-bake for 15 minutes.
- 3Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: mix the tomato paste with water, the remaining basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Spread the sauce over the pre-baked dough base, place the ham slices on top, and crack an egg in the middle. Bake for another 15 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
