Preparation of the sticks
Wash the zucchini, dry it thoroughly, then cut it into sticks approximately 6 cm long and 1 cm wide. Salt them (use about 5 g of salt) and let them sit for 20 minutes. Afterwards, wipe off any exuded moisture with a kitchen paper towel.
Heat a generous amount of oil in a pot to approximately 180 °C. Beat the eggs in a bowl.
Coat the zucchini sticks first in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Immediately fry them in the hot oil until golden brown. Place the finished sticks on a plate lined with kitchen paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Chef's tip
For the dip, you can also use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream if you prefer a lighter version.
