Preparation method
If using raw prawns, peel them (you can leave the tail on for easier serving) and remove the intestinal tract. If using pre-cooked prawns, simply rinse and pat them dry.
Peel the garlic and slice it thinly. Slice the chilli pepper into thin rings (if you prefer it less spicy, remove the seeds or use less).
In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic slices and chilli, then sauté them until the garlic starts to turn golden brown. Watch it constantly, as garlic can easily burn and become bitter!
