INGREDIENTS
- 4 large peaches
- 340 g bacon (approx. 12 slices)
- Basil
- Balsamic Glaze
- Extra virgin olive oil
PREPARATION
- 1Set the grill to low heat and preheat for about 10 minutes.
- 2Dip a paper towel in a little grapeseed oil (or other neutral oil) and grease the grill grates with it.
- 3Wash and dry the peaches. Cut them in half, then cut each half peach into four pieces (this will result in 8 slices from one peach).
- 4Place a large basil leaf on both sides of each peach slice.
- 5Cut the bacon slices in half. Wrap each peach slice with half a slice of bacon, ensuring the basil leaves are inside. Secure the end of the bacon with a toothpick.
- 6Lightly brush the bacon-wrapped peach slices with olive oil to prevent them from sticking to the grill.
- 7Place them on the grill and cook for about 20 minutes, until the bacon is nicely cooked through. Turn them occasionally to ensure all sides brown evenly.
- 8When done, transfer them to a serving platter and remove the toothpicks.
- 9Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- 10Serve warm or at room temperature.
