Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 185–190 °C and prepare a 12-cup muffin tin.
Cut the tortillas into 4 pieces (triangles) and place one piece into each muffin cup to form small baskets.
In a large bowl, mix the minced meat, egg, chopped onion, 50 g grated Gouda cheese, milk, cumin, chili, crushed garlic, chopped fresh coriander, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs. Form the mixture into balls weighing approximately 65–70 grams, then place them into the tortilla baskets.
Chef's tip
When serving, you can also offer sour cream or fresh guacamole for an even more complete Mexican experience.
