A vérvörös bor, a fagyasztott szőlő szemgolyók és a fűszeres fahéjas-brandys alap annyira látványos, amennyire egyszerű kancsóban elkészíteni. Tálalás előtt gyömbérsörrel felöntve tökéletes előre készíthető sangria egy fergeteges halloweeni bulira!
Ingredients
Preparation method
Freezing the grapes and resting the sangria
Wash the grapes thoroughly, dry them completely, then arrange them in a single layer on a tray or plate and freeze for at least 2 hours to get perfect, icy "eyeballs".
Slice half of the washed oranges, lemon, and lime into thin rounds and place them in a large pitcher. Add the cinnamon stick, pour in the brandy and fruity dry red wine. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours – or even overnight – to let the flavors meld together perfectly.
Assembly and serving
Before serving, rub the rim of the glasses with a remaining lemon or lime wedge, then dip into colored (e.g. red or black) sugar for a spookily impressive decoration.
Chef's tip
Non-alcoholic Halloween sangria (mocktail): By omitting the brandy and using 100% unfiltered red grape juice or carbonated red grape drink instead of red wine, you can create a fantastically delicious, spooky punch for kids and drivers.
Spooky eyeballs: You can even pierce a blueberry into the center of each frozen grape with a toothpick for an even more realistic "eyeball" effect in your guests' glasses!
