- 40 ml Bourbon whiskey
- 30 ml Soda water
- 1 slice Orange
- 5 g Granulated sugar
- 1 handful Ice cubes

In a glass or mortar, muddle a slice of orange with 5 grams of granulated sugar to release the flavors and essential oils.

Fill the glass 3/4 full with ice cubes, then add the bourbon whiskey and soda water.

Stir thoroughly and garnish with an orange peel for extra aroma.
Chef's tip
In the original recipe, orange and sugar are replaced with a few drops of Angostura bitters for a more complex flavor.
