Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 180–185 °C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Cook the red lentils according to the instructions on the package, then drain and rinse with cold water.
Place the cooked lentils in a large bowl, add the marjoram, oils, salt, pepper, crushed garlic, grated carrots, eggs, and onion. Blend everything until smooth with an immersion blender.
Chef's tip
The patties can be served on their own with a light sour cream dip, or as a main course with boiled/roasted potatoes. Fresh parsley can also be mixed into the batter for extra freshness.
