INGREDIENTS FOR THE TACO
- 4 small tortillas
- 300 g minced beef
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- a little oil for frying
- romaine lettuce for serving
INGREDIENTS FOR THE DRESSING
- 1 large tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon yogurt
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sweet ketchup
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon chopped gherkin and 1 tablespoon gherkin juice
- 1/3 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 clove garlic
PREPARATION
- 1Divide the minced meat into 4 portions and press it evenly onto one side of the tortillas, so the meat covers the entire surface.
- 2Heat up the pan, drizzle in a little oil, then place the tortilla meat-side down. Cook over medium heat until the meat is fully cooked through. Then carefully flip it, lower the heat, place a slice of cheddar on top, and continue cooking until the cheese melts and the tortilla turns a nice golden brown.
- 3Meanwhile, mix together the sauce ingredients – this will be your secret weapon. Once everything is ready, spread the sauce on the tacos, sprinkle some chopped romaine lettuce on top, and start eating with your hands!
