Preparation method

Cut the nori sheets in half and place one on the bamboo sushi rolling mat. Moisten your fingers, then evenly spread about 75 g of cooked sushi rice on it, leaving a strip of about 0.5 cm free at the top edge. Draw a thin line of wasabi paste in the middle of the rice.

Cut the avocado into thin strips and place them on the first third of the rice.

Using the bamboo mat, start rolling the sushi tightly, making sure the roll remains even.

Chef's tip

Wasabi and pickled ginger are essential accompaniments to sushi. Ginger helps neutralize flavors between different bites and aids digestion. Always use ripe but firm avocado for the best results!
