Preparation method
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and press them evenly onto the surface of the tortillas. Make sure the meat layer is of uniform thickness everywhere and completely covers the tortilla.
Heat a pan, then pour in a little oil. When the oil is hot, place the tortilla meat-side down. Cook over medium heat for a few minutes until the meat is fully cooked through.
Once the meat is cooked, use a spatula to flip the tortilla. Reduce the heat and place a slice of cheddar cheese on the meat. Continue cooking for a few more minutes until the cheese melts and the tortilla becomes golden brown and crispy. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Chef's tip
For an even more authentic taste, use Miil cheddar cheese, which melts perfectly.
