- 750 ml dry red wine
- 300 ml orange juice
- 300 ml sparkling mineral water
- 200 ml dark rum
- 150 g cane sugar
- 1 apple
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- ice cubes to taste
Wash the fruits thoroughly, dry them, and place them in the refrigerator to chill well.
Slice the lemon and orange thinly, then place them in a large glass pitcher. Halve the apple, remove the core, slice it thinly, and add it to the pitcher as well. Sprinkle with cane sugar and pour in the rum. Let it mature in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Gently press the fruits in the pitcher with a wooden spoon to release their flavors. Pour in the red wine, orange juice, and sparkling mineral water. Mix thoroughly, then add plenty of ice cubes.
Chef's tip
Sangria is even more delicious if left to mature in the refrigerator overnight, allowing the flavors to fully meld.
