  • 100 g fine wheat flour
  • 100 g cold butter
  • 100 g Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper

    In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and cayenne pepper. Add the diced cold butter and rub it into the flour until a coarse crumbly texture is achieved. Then fold in the finely grated Parmesan.

    If the dough seems too dry, add 1 tablespoon of cold water and quickly knead it together. Form it into a ball, wrap it in cling film, and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C. On a floured surface, roll out the chilled dough to a thickness of about 3-4 mm. Cut out crackers with a cookie cutter of your choice, then carefully place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown. Let them cool completely on the baking sheet to ensure they are truly crispy.
Tip
Before baking, you can sprinkle the crackers with sesame seeds or poppy seeds for a more varied flavor.
