Ingredients overview
- 4 pcs Mana burger patties
- 4 slices vegan cheddar cheese
- 4 pcs vegan hamburger buns
- 1 handful mixed salad leaves
- 2 pcs cluster tomatoes
- 2 pcs gherkins
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- ½ pc white onion
- 4 tbsp whole grain mustard
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp agave syrup
- 5 sprigs fresh dill
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
First, prepare the dressing: put both types of mustard, vinegar, agave syrup, and fresh dill into a food processor or blender, then briefly blend. While continuously mixing, slowly pour in the olive oil until the dressing emulsifies. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then refrigerate until serving.
Cook the ManaBurger patties in a hot pan, on a grill, or in a preheated oven for 2-3 minutes per side. We recommend cooking without oil to ensure the burger's exterior is golden brown and crispy, while the interior remains juicy. Place a slice of vegan cheese on each cooked patty and let it melt for a few minutes, covered.
Cut the hamburger buns in half and toast them in a dry pan. Spread ketchup on the bottom half, add lettuce leaves, thin tomato slices, then place the cheesy burger patty on top. Add a few slices of gherkins, finely chopped white onion, and a generous spoonful of dill-mustard dressing. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve. Enjoy!
Chef's tip
It's worth toasting the buns just before serving to keep them crispy.
