Ingredients

  • 200 g Gruyère cheese
  • 200 g Emmental cheese
  • 1 pc garlic clove
  • 200 ml dry white wine
  • 5 g cornstarch
  • 5 g lime juice
  • 2 g ground nutmeg
  • 200 g fresh bread
  • 100 g vegetables
  • 200 g potatoes

    Rub the inside of a pot with garlic (for a delicate aroma).

    Pour in the white wine and heat gently (but do not boil!).

    Gradually add the grated cheeses, stirring constantly until melted.

    Mix the cornstarch with the lemon juice, add it to the pot to make it smooth.

    Stir in the nutmeg.

    Dip, swirl, eat. Repeat until the pot is empty.

    If the fondue becomes too thick, add a little wine. If it's too thin, stir in more cheese (obviously).
