Ingredients
- 200 g Gruyère cheese
- 200 g Emmental cheese
- 1 pc garlic clove
- 200 ml dry white wine
- 5 g cornstarch
- 5 g lime juice
- 2 g ground nutmeg
- 200 g fresh bread
- 100 g vegetables
- 200 g potatoes
Steps
- 1Rub the inside of a pot with garlic (for a delicate aroma).
- 2Pour in the white wine and heat gently (but do not boil!).
- 3Gradually add the grated cheeses, stirring constantly until melted.
- 4Mix the cornstarch with the lemon juice, add it to the pot to make it smooth.
- 5Stir in the nutmeg.
- 6Dip, swirl, eat. Repeat until the pot is empty.
- 7If the fondue becomes too thick, add a little wine. If it's too thin, stir in more cheese (obviously).
