- 400 g dry spaghetti
- 500 g shrimp
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 pc chili pepper
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 handful fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
Steps
- 1Cook the spaghetti in plenty of salted water (approx. 4-5 liters of water and 40 g salt) until al dente. Drain, but reserve 100 ml of the cooking water.
- 2Clean the shrimp, cut into 2-4 pieces depending on size, then toss with lemon juice in a bowl.
- 3Peel and thinly slice the garlic. Slice the chili pepper into rings.
- 4Pour the olive oil into a cold pan, add the garlic and chili, then start heating over medium heat. Sauté for about 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour in the reserved cooking water and heat for another 4 minutes.
- 5Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the pan. Mix thoroughly and cook for about 1 minute, until the shrimp are done. Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan and chopped parsley, then serve immediately.
