Tomato is a plant belonging to the nightshade family, which is native to South and Central America. Today, we can buy different types of special tomatoes all year round, such as small cherry, slightly larger cocktail or elongated berry-shaped (mini plum, mini San Marzano) or pear-shaped tomato varieties, in bunches or individually.

Use

They can be practically consumed with sandwiches or used as a decoration for dishes. Their color can also be very varied: in addition to the most common red berry color, we also know varieties that ripen to pink, yellow, orange, brown and even green.
