INGREDIENTS

  • 2 onions
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 juniper berries
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 dl red wine
  • 1 tbsp ground sweet paprika
  • 2 tbsp lard
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Stew cube
  • 1.2 kg venison

PREPARATION

    Chop the onions and sauté them in a pot with the lard until translucent. Then add the diced tomatoes and bell peppers.

    Once the vegetables have softened, add the meat, paprika, and tomato paste.

    Then add the spices, the halved garlic head, and pour in the red wine.

    Cook covered for 2-3 hours, then season with salt and pepper before serving.
