INGREDIENTS
- 2 onions
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 head of garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 juniper berries
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 3 dl red wine
- 1 tbsp ground sweet paprika
- 2 tbsp lard
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Stew cube
- 1.2 kg venison
PREPARATION
- 1Chop the onions and sauté them in a pot with the lard until translucent. Then add the diced tomatoes and bell peppers.
- 2Once the vegetables have softened, add the meat, paprika, and tomato paste.
- 3Then add the spices, the halved garlic head, and pour in the red wine.
- 4Cook covered for 2-3 hours, then season with salt and pepper before serving.
