Ingredients
- 4 pcs buffalo mozzarella
- 700 g tomatoes
- 100 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pc basil
- 5 g salt
- 2 g pepper
Steps
- 1Slice the tomatoes thinly, and halve or quarter the cherry tomatoes.
- 2Lightly salt and pepper them.
- 3When serving, arrange the tomatoes in a bowl, place the mozzarella in the center, and drizzle generously with good quality olive oil, then season with fresh basil leaves.
- 4If desired, you can also drizzle a little balsamic vinegar or lemon juice over the salad and use other fresh herbs. A few pieces of sun-dried tomatoes can also be a good flavoring if you prefer a more intense taste. With a slice of sourdough toast, it can even stand as a main course.
