In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, finely chopped spring onion, grated ginger, crushed garlic, and chopped chili.
Place the salmon fillets in the marinade and coat them thoroughly. Let them rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for the flavours to infuse the fish.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Place the salmon on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 15-18 minutes, until the fish is flaky.
Chef's tip
Do not overcook the salmon to keep it juicy. If the flesh separates easily with a fork, it's ready.
