Ingredients overview
- 200 g Beef steak
- 10 ml Olive oil (for cooking and sauce)
- 2 pinches Table salt (for meat and sauce)
- 1 pinch Ground black pepper
- 1 handful Fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp Oregano
- 20 g Red chili pepper
- 14 g Garlic
- 1 pinch Freshly ground pepper (for sauce)
- 5 ml Red wine vinegar
- 1 pc Coca Cola
Season the room-temperature steak with salt and pepper, and drizzle with a little olive oil. Grill or pan-fry for 3-5 minutes per side (depending on desired doneness). Remove from heat and let it rest on a plate for at least 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the chimichurri sauce. Combine the chopped parsley, oregano, finely chopped chili, crushed garlic, salt, pepper, red wine vinegar, and the remaining olive oil. Mix everything thoroughly (or blend briefly) to get a thick sauce.
Slice the rested steak and serve it drizzled with the fresh chimichurri sauce.
