Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 200–210 °C. Prepare a medium-sized (approx. 30x40 cm) baking tray or ovenproof dish.
In a large bowl, mix the minced beef with dried oregano, crushed garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Thoroughly combine the mixture.
Pour 100 ml of water into the baking tray, add the chopped tomatoes and bay leaves. Form meatballs of approx. 55–60 grams from the meat mixture and place them into the tomato base.
