Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 200-205 °C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Prepare the marinade: In a large bowl, whisk the egg, then add the sunflower oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili, honey, lemon juice, and grated lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper, then add the crushed garlic. Mix everything thoroughly with a hand whisk.
Break the cauliflower into smaller florets, then toss them in the prepared marinade until each piece is evenly coated. Spread the seasoned cauliflower florets on the baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 30-33 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
Chef's tip
The cauliflower can also be served with a dressing made from soy sauce, ginger, honey, and vinegar for an even more Asian flavor.
